Twalkers

The game twalkers is about little people that walk across streets. If you miss a phone call you lose 20 points. If the twalkers go to the wrong building you lose 1 point. The purpose of the game is to teach people that it is dangerous to text while you are on a busy road or in a town. We like the game because you can drag the twalkers to the right building and you get 20 points. Some of the phone calls are easy and funny. If you get one right you get 20 points. We would want other people to play this game because they could understand that it is dangerous to walk on the road and text.

Privacy Share Jumper

Privacy Share Jumper teaches you how to make the right decisions. Online you should not gossip about other people, or give out your personal information like your name, your phone number, street address, or your family members names. Remember to not say inappropriate things online. One reason we like Privacy Share Jumper is because it helps you make good decisions, and it is really easy to use. This website is a very good resource for many different reasons, including the way it decreases the amount of bulling online each day.

Upstander E-volve

Upstander E-volve is on Digital Passport.  It teaches you to be an up-stander. An up-stander is a person who stands up to bullying. In the game, you answer questions about what to do when you are bullied. If you get the answer right, you get a shield. A shield is an item that protects your creatures from cyber bullies. If you get the question wrong, you lose a shield. You have to click on the bullies to get a question. You get three creatures which you have to evolve. There are three levels in a game. We liked the game because it was fun. We would recommend it to anyone. It teaches you to be an up-stander to bullying.

Search Shark

In Search Shark, we learned to search the Internet using specific words.  In the game if you picked the right words the shark would get to eat guppies and you would get more points.  If you picked the wrong word the shark would get sick and have less to eat. You also would get less points. At the end of each round the computer told you what you got wrong and why. Search Shark is a fun and easy game that helped us to find a topic on the internet by using specific words to search.

St. Joe A Gram

This last quarter my school team, the Blazing Angels, did one of our St. Joe A Grams.  We drove out to Gayleen Mitchell’s house.  She fell down a flight of stairs and broke her pelvis.  We sang her a song that Mrs. Hacker wrote "We heard that you were down and want to cheer you up, praying and praying that you get well and get back on your feet..."  The song was about getting better soon.  She really enjoyed it!

St. Joe A Gram

This year the teachers decided to divide all the classes into three service groups. The students entered a St. Joe A Gram into the auction, and people wanting us to sing a song, or help them do something bought them.  The “Amazing Believers” are led by Mrs. Dostal and Miss Liewer.
The “Amazing Believers” would sing a song to Dennis Hytrek, who recently had an accident and broke both ankles and feet.  They sang a remix of happy birthday that was telling Dennis we were praying for him.  Dennis really enjoyed it and so did the kids.

Basketball Hoops

Over the summer St Joseph's  received two new basketball hoops.  They were donated by the Fitness First of Atkinson. They are much better than the old hoops that were there. The new hoops are able to be adjusted which makes it easier for the little kids to shoot baskets. The hoops also can go higher for the older kids. The baskets are being used every recess. The new baskets were not the only thing that the school received. We also received around a dozen new basketballs to use.  We are very grateful to have received the new things we have, and we thank the donors.
